A Clemson grad brought in this poster printed on canvas for us to frame. Batik!
This silk batik is from Polynesia somewheres. We matted it in an acid-free black and used a rough black bamboo motif moulding. The bold colors of the batik seemingly jump off the black background. This piece measures about 20" x 28". nice! … [Read more...] about Batik!
Papyrus!
It is always a delight when a customer brings in a genuine Egyptian papyrus. We typically float mount them on an acid-free backing board in order to show off the ragged edge texture of the papyrus. Spacers hidden behind the lip of the frame keep the glass from touching the papyrus. This piece measures about 26" x 12".
