Signed Steve Spurrier Sports Illustrated!
Here is a nice Throwback Thursday item! A customer brought us this vintage 1976 issue of a Sports Illustrated that has Tampa Bay Buccaneer quarterback Steve Spurrier on the cover! (Anyone know this qb? This is when he still had knees!) We matted it in black and TB orange and used a black frame with a silver lip. More Batiks!
Here is another batik we framed recently. Batiks take extra effort to get flat and straight under the acid free mats we use. We have Jake hand stretch these batiks onto an acid free board, it takes a little extra time but it is worth it to get them nice and flat. Batik!
A really neat batik brought back from somewhere in Polynesia or Africa or other parts of the world far away. It measures about 36" tall by about 8" wide (think Funky Chicken sized!) Fabulous Old Portrait!
Recently we framed this old portrait, it is tiny and printed on some sort of porcelain! The porcelain only measures about 3" x 4" (the entire frame only measures about 7" x 8"!) so we used a small bluish linen mat and a small Italian moulding that has a repeating design.
