Framed Long Island 1950s Watercolours!
These fabulous watercolours were brought in by the great-granddaughter of the artist, she had inherited them. They are wonderful! The artist used a palette with strong eggplants and greys. This large oil painting is on thin cotton, t-shirt grade. It was probably a bedsheet! This made stretching it challenging, as we had to take care not to tear it.
