Plaster walls… oof. Plaster walls require a bit more planning than drywall. We had to hang these four pictures ever so evenly vertically and horizontally. WE ended up replacing the hanging hardware with newer (and much better) hardware. Then we set about to measure, measure and measure some more! Pilot holes were drilled then enlarged, anchors sank and screws installed. By the time we were done the pictures lined up ever so perfectly! (Did we mention all of this was done while hanging from a ladder! More oof!)
