This large piece (60" long!) is a brightly colored silk, hand done in China and brought back to SC to be framed! We used a contemporary black moulding (with a deep rabbet to allow for spacers to raise the glass.) This is a recent printing of a photograph from the Civil War (the original photograph is a business card size tintype, this enlargement turned out great!) This cool looking flag is accompanied by a photograph of the military unit it represents. We hand stitched the flag onto a yellow toned mat and used a contemporary rust colored frame.
