This poster from 1968 Spoleto Italy is by acclaimed American artist Robert Motherwell. It is open edition and has slight discoloration damage to the bottom 1/5 or so, as the result of being stored in a cardboard tube for some 40+ years. Framed Pastel Portrait!
Pastels are always a bit more difficult to frame as the pigments tend to flake easily and can collect on the mat bevels. We safeguard against this happening by ever so slightly raising the mats of the art as to give the flakes a place to fall behind the mats. Wonderful Watercolour by Griff!
