Framed Indonesian Fabric Applique!
This is an unusual (and quite large) piece... an Indonesian applique on fabric. Hand stitched with colorful threads, it is on heavy linen. We hand stitched it onto a black linen matboard and used a contemporary black beveled moulding. We used spacers to keep the glass off the artwork. This piece measures about 45" tall x 28" wide. Antique Cross Stitches!
A customer found these old cross stitches at her Grandma's house and we popped them out of the old frames and put them in some old looking new frames!
