This is an unusual (and quite large) piece... an Indonesian applique on fabric. Hand stitched with colorful threads, it is on heavy linen. We hand stitched it onto a black linen matboard and used a contemporary black beveled moulding. We used spacers to keep the glass off the artwork. This piece measures about 45" tall x 28" wide. Exquisite Japanese “Last Supper”
We enjoyed framing this nice little piece. It is from the 70s and is Japanese depiction of The Last Supper! Very efficiently executed! Framed Contemporary Nude!
We recently framed this ultra cool piece of artwork for a customer, a contemporary nude by artist Julie Hollis. We matted it is a flat grey museum quality conservation matboard to match the background of the art and accented with a blueish grey bottom mat to pick up on the lines in the art.
