This little piece is framed with a thin bamboo motif moulding (I know! I Know! But it works so well.) The scale and texture of the bamboo moulding go very well with the Palmetto. Floating Wisteria Watercolor!
We mounted this nice little watercolor on a teal suede matboard, raising it ever so slightly. The effect is that it is floating against the background. We used a 2" hand-finished pewter moulding with a slightly distressed look. It is sophisticated and casual at the same time! The finished piece measures about 21" x 24". Every now and again a customer brings in an item that we have NOT framed before. This certainly qualifies.
