We were recently tasked with framing this large contemporary oil painting by local artist Christi Arnette. There was limited space on the wall it was to hang so we went with a thin (7/8" wide) distressed wood moulding. This frame is a good 1 1/8" deep, too, able to handle chunky stretcher strips.
