We got a kick out of framing this one recently. Ol' Ernest Lee has painted this fun chicken. A bit skinnier and smaller than his normal sizes, this one only measures about 5" wide. Floating Wisteria Watercolor!
We mounted this nice little watercolor on a teal suede matboard, raising it ever so slightly. The effect is that it is floating against the background. We used a 2" hand-finished pewter moulding with a slightly distressed look. It is sophisticated and casual at the same time! The finished piece measures about 21" x 24".
