A customer brought in this wonderful photograph of the Charles Bridge in Prague. We knew just what to do. We started with a black suede mat (the values in the photo are extremely strong!) and put an Italian frame on it that is bluish silver and black with architectural detailing. Wonderful Photo of USC Horseshoe in Bloom!
This is a nice piece, a photograph of the USC Horseshoe in bloom. We matted it in a double linen mat, greys and garnets, and used a multi-colored contemporary frame. It is a good size! This was a tricky one, we had to hang this collage of framed photos (most vertical, a few horizontal) in a "non-linear" style. We chose a "shotgun" pattern and got to work, it took quite a while! This is a very interesting piece, a photo collage portrait of University of South Carolina Gamecocks former baseball coach (now athletic director) Ray Tanner done in a clever style of using hundreds of tiny photos to come together as one image. Fabulous Old Portrait!
Recently we framed this old portrait, it is tiny and printed on some sort of porcelain! The porcelain only measures about 3" x 4" (the entire frame only measures about 7" x 8"!) so we used a small bluish linen mat and a small Italian moulding that has a repeating design.
