An excellent track uniform we framed, shadowbox style. English Jake hand stitches the uniform to a suede matboard, this one is a deep USA blue. This large piece (60" long!) is a brightly colored silk, hand done in China and brought back to SC to be framed! We used a contemporary black moulding (with a deep rabbet to allow for spacers to raise the glass.) Framed 100 year old Tapestry!
This large piece (the tapestry measures about 36" x 26") appears to be Turkish or Syrian. It i a heavy weave tapestry, the subtle colors blending with the earthy tones. We hand stitched it onto a linen mat and chose a 1 1/4" green and gold bamboo motif frame.
