Thee Vietnam War era pin up style nudes are painted on silk, one is unmistakably a copy of the iconic Marilyn Monroe centerfold. The other two? We don’t know… We had to mat over some bad parts of the other two, we were scared to remover the brittle silks from the stretcher bars. We used brown silk mats and sized the mats so these two would be the same dimensions as the larger Marilyn (well, the FRAMES are the same dimensions!) We framed all three in a 2″ black rope motif moulding (Made in the USA!!) and glassed all three, using spacers to keep the glass off the artwork. They measure about 26″ x 36″ each.
