We were excited to see this nice piece come through the shop recently, a signed monotype by local artist and Hollywood veteran actress Bettye Ackerman Jaffe. The image measures about 16″ by 24″ and we matted and framed it out to about 27″ by 35″ total. The dull, dark greens in the body of the print serve well as contrast for the bright red/orange flower. Gladiolus, maybe? We matted it in a blue/green linen and used a contemporary silverish frame. Fantastic!
