Recently we were charged with framing this charcoal portrait of a customer’s child. This portrait was done in Jamaica and our customer wanted to use the colors of the Jamaican flag in the matting somehow. With a black and white piece we are hesitant to add color, but we thought we could get them into the package somehow. We ended up using the red, yellow and green as 1/8″ each bottom mats, making the mat a quadruple mat. The black frame and black top mat keep the piece easy on the eye! If you need a Columbia frame shop to offer excellent suggestions for your framing project give us a call!
