We recently framed this ultra cool piece of artwork for a customer, a contemporary nude by artist Julie Hollis. We matted it is a flat grey museum quality conservation matboard to match the background of the art and accented with a blueish grey bottom mat to pick up on the lines in the art. We used a basic black 1″ wide frame. The hard straight masculine edges of the frame and mats juxtapose nicely against the soft curvy feminine lines of the art. This piece measures about 20″ by 16″.
