At Elite Framing we frame many newspaper articles. Is is ALWAYS better to leave the newspaper whole when you want it framed. Some folks cut out the articles and leave no margin for mat overlay (crucial!) Here is an example of some ridiculously small openings that would not have been possible if the paper had been cut. Kudos to this customer for sending the whole newspaper!
