We recently framed this ultra cool piece of artwork for a customer, a contemporary nude by artist Julie Hollis. We matted it is a flat grey museum quality conservation matboard to match the background of the art and accented with a blueish grey bottom mat to pick up on the lines in the art. Oriental Silk Art Before and After
We had originally framed these seasonal pieces in one long bamboo motif frame some years ago. It looked great! Still does but the owners have moved house and there is nowhere to hang it in the new place. So, we reframed them individually to allow us to hang them in pairs. This is a neat piece. We have some customers who are BIG TIME sushi fans, they hit the local sushi in their travels whenever possible.
