Who knew USC had a hockey team? We had heard, but weren't sure until this customer brought in a newspaper article to frame. We used black mats (black mats seem to be a good choice for Newspaper articles, makes the black type easier to read it seems) and a Gamecock motif moulding. Pro Tip! Leave your newspapers whole when bringing in to frame
At Elite Framing we frame many newspaper articles. Is is ALWAYS better to leave the newspaper whole when you want it framed. Some folks cut out the articles and leave no margin for mat overlay (crucial!) Here is an example of some ridiculously small openings that would not have been possible if the paper had been cut.
