Yes, the University of South Carolina has a hockey team. This is an older jersey (that has grass stains on it? SC hockey!) that we recently framed for a former player. Who knew USC had a hockey team? We had heard, but weren't sure until this customer brought in a newspaper article to frame. We used black mats (black mats seem to be a good choice for Newspaper articles, makes the black type easier to read it seems) and a Gamecock motif moulding.
