Mardi Gras! Framed Mardi Gras Poster
Columbia celebrated Mardi Gras a few days early on Saturday March 1. This is the official poster of the event, designed and printed by Columbia's own The Half and Half, that we framed for the Krewe. We used an eggplant mat and a subtly two toned gold 2" wide moulding. Check out this fantastic print from a woodcut by Greenville, SC artist Kent Ambler! Some great lines in this image of Pine Warblers (in a pine tree, naturally) seemingly hiding from what appears to be a swallow overhead. (Do swallows attack cut little pine warblers?)
