Vintage Deli Adverts!
A local deli recently dug out some old adverts (how many years has it been since an STP was $2.10??) These art boards are hand painted on thick card-stock, they are in surprisingly good shape. We used a contemporary black and grey Italian frame and went all Art Deco on this project. To keep the sizes smaller, we used hidden spacers to keep the glass off of the art. Lovely Little Woodcut
This woodcut was framed in a shabby little dime store frame (you know the one that the artist puts it in for the sole reason that it sort of fits? sort of?) Framed 1940s Wofford College Letterman’s Sweater!
This fabulous piece was recently brought into Elite Framing to be preserved. We hand stitched it onto a golden toned silk matboard (look at Jake go!) and framed it in a black distressed moulding with a gold bead lip. We raised the glass off the sweater with hidden spacers.
