At Elite Framing (in Columbia’s 5 Points shopping district) we recently reframed this watercolour by Lexington artist George Griffith. (We won’t show you the original mats and frames, but… dated!) We chose a neutral warm grey linen top mat and a darker grey linen bottom mat. We then picked a 2 1/2″ greyish burl frame (Made in Italy!) to complete the piece. The overall size is about 36″ x 28″. Outstanding! And would you look at the other colors and sizes that are available for this moulding!
